I am a taco loving/eating machine.  This is my new favorite taco spot!!  A lot of taquerias just dont do it like this place.  Usually there are too many toppings or the tortillas are too big and not authentic and the meat to tortilla ratio is off. But at El Canaston they do it right These are real street tacos!!! A good amount of meat, onions, cilantro and salsa. Oh, not to mention homemade tortillas cooked with a little meat grease. I went in Jan 2023 and ordered carne asada tacos, and homemade drinks. The tacos were very tasty and the homemade tortillas were amazing. I really like the horchata and the white drink. I liked the variety in the menu and that there’s many vegetarian options.

I have been so far visited El Canaston four times with all my family. I will go many more times whenever  i have an opportunity to eat excellent authentic Mexican food, and Turkish delights they offer there. Hand made tortillas are specially mentionable.
